Lockheed Martin Canada and the Air Cadet League of Canada Partner to Support Youth in Aviation, Aerospace and STEM

Ottawa, ON, February 3, 2025 – Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) Canada announced a new partnership with the Air Cadet League of Canada, committing $35,000 CAD toward the 2026 cycle of scholarships.

The Air Cadet League of Canada promotes and encourages the nation’s youth to develop and maintain an interest in aviation, leadership and citizenship, in partnership with the Canadian Armed Forces and other organizations. Scholarships provide assistance with tuition fees and academic expenses, removing barriers to cultivate the next generation of leaders in aviation, aerospace and STEM.

With seven major facilities from Victoria to Halifax, Lockheed Martin Canada not only works toward aerospace innovations and Canada’s defence and security priorities but also strives to play an active role in local communities.

“We are deeply aligned with the Air Cadet League of Canada’s mission to inspire young leaders,” said Kristen Leroux, vice president and regional executive for Canada and Latin America at Lockheed Martin. “This partnership will connect our 1000-strong Canadian workforce with the Air Cadet community and scholarship recipients, supporting career exploration in Canadian-rooted aerospace and technology sectors.”

“Thank you to Lockheed Martin Canada for your generous donation to the Air Cadet League of Canada (ACL) scholarship program. Your support directly enhances opportunities for young cadets, helping them pursue their academic and aviation ambitions with confidence,” said Mr. Marc Lacroix, National President of ACL. “We are deeply grateful for your partnership and the lasting impact it creates for the next generation of leaders.”

Lockheed Martin Canada’s $35,000 CAD commitment supports 14 youth recipients for the 2026 cycle of scholarships and underscores two key community focus areas—military and Veteran support as well as STEM education.
