National Gold Level sponsorship will help bring robotics and STEM-related programs to Canadian youth

Ottawa, ON, October 29, 2025 – Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) announced a new partnership with FIRST Robotics Canada to encourage young people to pursue post-secondary education in engineering and technology and prepare them for a bright future.

The sponsorship will connect Lockheed Martin's 1000-strong Canadian workforce with the FIRST Canada community to share their knowledge of STEM fields and support youth exploring a future in engineering. With five major facilities across Canada, Lockheed Martin not only works towards aerospace innovations and Canada’s defence and security priorities but also strives to play an active role in local communities.

Lockheed Martin joins as a National Gold level partner, representing over $100,000 in support of the 2025-2026 FIRST Robotics Programs and includes grants for Canadian FIRST teams with Lockheed Martin employee mentors.

"As part of our efforts to educate and inspire tomorrow’s scientists, engineers and mathematicians, we’re incredibly excited to partner with FIRST Robotics Canada and the student-led teams who are innovating, creating, and building amazing things,” said Kristen Leroux, vice president and regional executive for Canada and Latin America at Lockheed Martin. “Many of our employees are passionate about STEM and dedicate a significant amount of time volunteering in classrooms and in support of local programs—we look forward to extending this engagement with FIRST Robotics Canada.”

"We are thrilled with our new partnership with Lockheed Martin," said Dave Ellis, President of FIRST Robotics Canada. "Lockheed Martin’s focus on innovation, education, and engineering aligns with our mission to make robotics accessible to all young people and to inspire them to become leaders, innovators, and changemakers who are ready for the future."
