Edmonton, AB — Veterans’ House Canada (VHC) is excited to announce a $25,000 sponsorship from Lockheed Martin Canada for the Private Therapy and Meeting Room at our Edmonton home.  The Edmonton home is currently undergoing construction and is set to open in Winter 2026.

Lockheed Martin Canada is the Canadian unit of Lockheed Martin Corporation, a leading aerospace and defence company. With over 1,000 Canadian employees at five major facilities across Canada, the company not only works towards aerospace innovations and Canada’s defence and security priorities, but also strives to play an active role in their wider local communities. Through various contributions, fundraising activities, and employee volunteer opportunities, Lockheed Martin Canada supports military and Veteran causes across the country.

Homelessness is an increasing problem amongst Veterans in Canada, and they’re overrepresented in the population of homeless people. Lockheed Martin’s support further reaffirms their commitment to the defence community.
