Gary Fudge Named General Manager and Vice President Lockheed Martin Canada, Rotary and Mission Systems

OTTAWA, May 17, 2018 –  Lockheed Martin is pleased to announce the appointment of Gary Fudge as the General Manager at Lockheed Martin Canada Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS). Gary will lead an organization of 650-plus employees located across Canada primarily involved in producing specialized naval systems integrations and combat management systems.

Gary also continues to serve as the lead executive for Canada’s Combat Ship Team, which is the Lockheed Martin Canada-led bid for the Canadian Surface Combatant (CSC), including executives from BAE Systems, CAE, L3, MDA and Ultra Electronics.

“I am delighted to congratulate Gary on his appointment and offer him my wholehearted support in this key leadership role,” said Charles Bouchard, Chief Executive, Lockheed Martin Canada. “Gary brings 25+ years of experience working on large-scale complex defence projects and was personally instrumental in leading the on-time, on-budget completion of the Halifax Class Modernization Project.”

Under Gary’s direction and leadership, Lockheed Martin Canada RMS has positioned its open architecture designed Combat Management System 330 as a world-class scalable system that was selected to be adapted for Canada’s Arctic and Offshore Patrol Vessels, exported as a key solution internationally and well-positioned to serve as the complex integration system on the Global Combat Ship Type 26 for CSC.

Gary is a graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
